Failing to Yield to the Proper Right-Of-Way. Nebraska Revised Statute 60-6, 146 establishes who has the right-of-way at intersections and on the highway. At an intersection, the driver on the left is to yield to the driver on the right in the event they arrive at the same time. A driver merging onto a highway from a lane or ramp should yield to main traffic. Failing to do so can cause an accident.
